Glam, bam, thank you Balmain.
Pierre Balmain, one of the “big three” of mid-century Parisian couture, founded his fashion house in 1945. Known for his grand evening gowns, slim tailored suits, and predilection for simplicity, Balmain became a favorite among European royalty and the Hollywood elite, famously designing costumes for sixteen films over the course of his career.

Balmain said, “Keep to the basic principles of fashion and you will always be in harmony with the latest trends without falling prey to them.”
